Spanish Program at Colorado International School

Welcome / Bienvenidos from Ms. Vivian (K- 2nd Grade)

I would like to welcome all of you to our great family of Colorado International School.  In our Spanish Program, your chidren will be involved in full language immersion class, where they will learn to communicate in spanish . Your chidren will learn spanish in the same way they learned their native language through reading,writing,math,science,social studies,history,geography,arts and music.

Our education is based on the Program of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) where the children will develop of positive attitudes (appreciation,cooperation,creativity,curiosity,enthusiasm,respect,tolerance)towards people,towards the enviroment and towards learning. We will be working on differents IB Themes through the school year.Also, we will have some scheduled field trips focus on these themes. You are more than welcome to come along!!!

Kindergarden :  “ Cocorolos” and “Trazos y Recortes”

1st Grade:  “Un paso adelante”  3 Books (Language,Math and science)

2nd Grade :  “Un paso adelante” 3 Books (Language, Math and Science)
