Colorado International School is a nonprofit Colorado corporation. Donations are gladly accepted and gratefully acknowledged.

When you give to Colorado International School, you invest in the leaders of tomorrow and help us fulfill our mission. Gifts support financial aid, library acquisitions, updated technology and equipment for classrooms and labs, staff training, pedagogical projects, and much more.

Recent Donations:

Colorado International School would like to recognize the grant from CIAO (Colorado Italian-American Organization) which has allowed the school to open an Italian Enrichment program. The grant is sincerely appreciated and we are thrilled to have Italian language at our school.

Colorado International School would like to offer its heartfelt thanks to Robert and Marcia Kern for their ongoing contributions to the school and its facility. Their efforts make a world of difference for us here at CoIS.

One of the best ways to make a year-end contribution to Colorado International School is by transferring appreciated securities. If you have owned them for more than one year, you will get a tax deduction based on the current market value of the shares and avoid capital taxes.

You can also create a scholarship or make a planned gift, in addition to other ways of giving.

Securities and Real Estate - Giving appreciated property, such as securities or real estate, is a popular alternative to giving cash. For example, if you own shares of stock that are worth more than you paid for them and you've owned them for more than one year, you can transfer them to Colorado International School as a gift and claim the full market value as a charitable income tax deduction. And you'll avoid tax on the gain, giving you even greater benefits than with a gift of cash. Contact our office for instructions before initiating any transfer of securities.

Tangible Personal Property - You may own items of tangible personal property such as works of art or rare books that have increased in value. If they can be used by Colorado International School in one of its programs, you can donate the items to Colorado International School and receive a charitable deduction for the items' market value and also avoid tax on the gain.
