Yolanda Perez, Spanish preK/K Yolanda Perez (Yoly) is from Lima, Perú. She have been married for 31 years to Rómulo Patino and has a daughter Claudia who has a BA degree in advertisement but is also in the education field and two sons Ruben and Felipe who are very happily married to girls from Colorado.
Yoly has a B.A. in Spanish and Education from D’Youville College in Buffalo New York. She has worked for over 20 years as an ESL instructor and English teacher for Pre-K to adult education in Perú.
Yoly has worked with the Montessori school at Greenwood Plaza in Denver for 2 years, as head teacher in one of the pre-school classes and as a Spanish teacher in the elementary classes.
One of the most rewarding experiences for her has been working as a Pre-K teacher in a full immersion Spanish program for over 2 years. Yoly is a very strong believer that the best way to learn a foreign language is in a full immersion language program…”the younger… the better”
She is very proud and happy to be part of the CoIS team, because she believes that teaching is a very challenging and rewarding career, but most of all because she loves working with children.
